Exotic Performance at Half the Price !
Introduction
The global automobile industry is a multi-billion dollar market that continues to grow. The United States, GAC's home market and the largest and wealthiest market in the world for high-end vehicles such as the MEC4, has been experiencing phenomenal growth since 1997 in the Ultra-Luxury/Prestige Sports Coupe and Exotic/Super-Luxury Automobile markets. Sports car manufacturers who produce Ultra-Luxury/Prestige Sports Coupes such as Porsche, Ferrari and Jaguar have posted record sales in the past few years and industry analysts predict market growth to almost double over the next five years. In anticipation of greater demand, manufacturers have stepped up production and introduced new models. The Exotic/Super-Luxury Automobile market is approximately 7,000 units or $1.5 billion annually while the Ultra-Luxury/Prestige Sports Coupe market enjoys over four times the sales volume, more than 30,000 units per year or approximately $3 billion annually. This translated into a combined United States market of $4.5 billion in 2002. The MEC4, a mid-engine supercar, is the actualization of more than 30 years of talk in the market of such a vehicle. Major automobile trade publications and industry analysts have constantly stated that a growing market exists for this type of niche vehicle. Magazines such as Road & Track have often commented and recognized the willingness by customers to gladly pay $150,000 or more for this type of mid-engine superexotic sports coupe.
The MEC4
Phenomenal design, simplicity, elegance and an overall smooth and integrated body were the driving forces in developing the MEC4's striking styling. The driver immediately feels its expression of fluid grace in its sensual windswept lines. Painstakingly hand sculptured to be aerodynamically effective and captivating to the eye, heart and soul. After years of extraordinary determination and commitment in research and development, Gisser Automotive Concepts' superexotic sports coupe is now available to discerning enthusiasts and collectors. The limited production MEC4 mid-engine, prestige sports coupe made its world debut at the North American International Automobile Shows in Detroit and New York. Designers, engineers and the automotive press were unanimously astounded at the aesthetic originality of its form and the abundance of advanced technology lurking beneath its muscular skin.
GAC has designed and engineered its superexotic luxury sports coupes to be highly marketable and saleable to satisfy the demands of a maximum number of discriminating and affluent automobile buyers in the Exotic/Super-Luxury and Ultra-Luxury/Prestige Sports Coupe market segments. The Company has to date invested the equivalent of $5.1 million in the project of which over $1.1M was cash. GAC is well past the start-up phase, as all R&D is complete, patented and preliminary production and marketing has commenced. GAC owns all manufacturing equipment necessary for production including chassis fixtures and over 90 production molds. During the MEC4 development stage, the Company occupied a 12,000 square foot, five acre facility at the Sullivan County International Airport Industrial Park which was the home of the Company's Corporate Offices and facility for the purposes of completing all pilot production, engineering, design, prototyping and research & development. At this location, the Company was able to complete all tooling molds and fixtures necessary for the low volume production of the MEC4.
GAC has developed and built multiple prototype, mid-engine, superexotic sports cars, (the "MEC4"), with the first pre-production model now road-ready. The MEC4 debuted at the North American International Automobile Show in Detroit and at the New York Auto Show in the Javits Center. GAC has set a $118,000 Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the MEC4 to compete in the Ultra-Luxury/Prestige Sports Coupe market. Due to its phenomenal styling, dynamic performance, assured safety and functional practicality that were all highly emphasized in the design engineering of the vehicle, the MEC4 can easily be classified along with Exotic/Super-Luxury Automobiles priced between $150,000 and $1,000,000.
Phenomenal Styling, Dynamic Performance, Assured Safety and Functional Practicality
Execution of MEC4's pure freedom of expression was accomplished through an unrestrained approach during the progression of design concept to production. A super rigid, racing style, triangulated steel spaceframe, rotomolded racing fuel cell, ABS, ASR, dual airbags and drivetrain retention straps are characteristic of the MEC4. The MEC4 utilizes tested and approved center cockpit frame sections of the L-98 platform and is designed to meet all DOT requirements. The MEC4 incorporates a Formula-1 type 5-link racing suspension and a high-performance supercharged powerplant providing over 500 bhp (EPA approved) while retaining high fuel economy. It is mated to a lightweight transaxle race proven to over 600 bhp. The MEC4 utilizes off the shelf and racing mechanicals for serviceability as well as offering everyday drivability and comfort with all the amenities of an Ultra-Luxury Sports Coupe.
